We went thru this track from Wolgan Valley road in a group of 14 cars, half were 2wd (trek cars, wouldn't attempt it in a standard car) & loved the challenge.Take you time, nice & steady.

Heading towards the Newnes Township just out from Lidsdale near Lithgow, is a turn off to your right to an area known as Balck Fellows hands. There's a small walk up the hill to the overhanging rock, where you'll find the Aboriginal art.

A must visit for raw natural splendour. A place from out of the past. You could hush camp 500m down the dirt road. No running water. If you are heading to Newnes it's worth a detour. We also had a look at The Glow Worm...More
