This was quite an easy walk with beautiful views. It took me 2 hours so not a long walk if you want to do a shorter hike.

We were lucky with a beautiful sunny day for our Dove Lake walk. We started early and for the first third of the walk, we were in the shadow of the mountain which made it quite cool. Not that it was a problem though, we soon warmed up. Parks Tas suggest that the walk is done clockwise, which makes sense... More

This is a great walk as you can go at your own pace and really enjoy the serenity of your surrounds. If you don't want to do the whole walk you can just go to the boat shed on one side (about 10 mins) and granite rock on the other (allow time for photos as it is a wonderful view)... More

Nice walk and very pretty. Went about 10ish. About 2 hour trip had a chance to stop and numerous stops for more walkies. Kiosk people wete very informative. Different options given for more experience and healthier people

We took the shuttle, which I'd recommend, to the last of four stops: Dove Lake. I wasn't sure we could make it in reasonable time because we're older but we made it in 2 hours, 5 minutes with a stop on a rock for picture taking and another at a beach. I'd recommend a counterclockwise trip to get the worst... More

Beautiful sceneries, easy walk around the lake - 5-10 km with the speed you like! Nothing to compare - brilliant views, colours, forest and stones mixed in fantastic combinations!

They've gone to a lot of trouble to make paths accessible. Even with limited mobility there were walks I could do and I thoroughly enjoyed being out in the fresh air and peace of the place.

Beautiful walk. Paths were well maintained and easy to walk. Cradle shuttle buses are free (with your $16 park pass) and can drop you off in 4 different locations depending on the hikes you chose to do. The shuttles are very frequent and a great service.
