Cosy place for lunch

Cosy local cafe, nice coffee and a toastie after walking the Stanley sights. Roomy table for a family of five and Sunday paper to browse

We sat here while it was blowing a gale in Stanley. Lovely spot for a browse and a read of the complimentary papers and magazines. The coffee was great and we all shared some chocolate brownies which were the best brownies I have ever eaten (and I have eaten a lot of brownies!). They have a lovely shop to explore... More

We only had a coffee in this cafe, it was really nice and the staff were so friendly. They gave us local information where to go, really useful. Also they brought water out for our dog without us asking.

My partner and I stopped for a look around and something to drink. Nicely decorated space with lovely products for sleep, especially candles etc. The server was friendly and had a great hot chocolate.

Great little place to wander around and look at the many things for sale, quirky and assorted! My hubby had a coffee here and rated it a 4/5, best coffee he'd had in our Tassie visit so far 👍🏻

This shop has an interesting collection of a variety of goods including scarves, ornaments, bags hand-made clothing and now serves coffee.

We stumbled across this gorgeously quaint cafe and gift shop while visiting Stanley - warmly welcomed, we browsed the store's cute and curious gifts while the lovely young couple running the place prepared our caramel milkshake (in the old fashioned aluminium tumbler no less), a flat white and the lightest scones we've eaten. Some of the locals popped in for... More

After all the hype on Tripadvisor I was looking forward to this place. Do yourselves a favour and DON'T BOTHER!!!! Extremely disinterested shop assistant, I can only hope she wasn't the owner. When she managed to tear herself away from her laptop, she made two very average coffees. Try the Providore shop up the road, even though they don't have... More

Loved to look through this gift shop. Beautiful candles, local art, lots of different things like childs clothes, teatowels, postcards, jewellery, kitchenwares, and most importantly a great coffee was served. It would be even better if a piece of cake or something could be served with the coffee. Hope to return one day to Stanley as it was a nice... More
