It is a very wide and well-maintained trail and park. I was on it recently after heavy ice and a thaw... and the remaining ice in patches was the only problem...but I was still able to walk around it to the sides. I'd say, other than heavy ice, there would never be a problem on these trails. They are groomed with gravel and lime, for more of a sandy texture... so even after a big thaw or rain, when it is very wet and splashy, it is not muddy. :-)
