    Fun Little Surprise
Fun little surprise on Kelley’s Island. 12 year old son enjoyed reading the history behind the glacial groove. Short climb up the stairs to view the site.

    Wow!
What an incredible living history space! The icebergs carved incredible grooves on their journey, and you can get up close and personal with viewing them! Completely handicap accessible and you'll need about 30 min to take everything in. It's a really beautiful park space as well. Go and enjoy!

Very Interesting - not to be missed
Kelleys Island is a small island in Lake Erie north of Sandusky, OH. This geologic feature is quite interesting and well displayed and preserved. With the limited number of things to do and see on this small island, this should be high on the list.

The glacial grooves were really neat. From the top looking down, it was really fascinating. The park did a good job surrounding the grooves with a nice walkway.

Agree with other reviews. Interesting phenomena on the island and worth seeing. The groove area is smaller than I anticipated but had lots of information signs throughout. Check out the fossils up the steps from their info sign.

Currently completely closed off by some sort of construction project. No other information at the site but it doesn't look like it will be finished any time soon.

Interesting stop while exploring the island, There are plaques along the walkway to educate. The top walkway and parking lot is currently under construction, could not access the top walkway at all.

Nothing extremely exciting, but at least they saved this section since a majority of these grooves were lost to mining in the 1800's

These are interesting glacial grooves. These are the first I've ever seen, so it was pretty impressive. There are plaques along the walkways to tell a little about the history. You can walk around the entire formation.

There is a small picnic area, but if you sit in the shade there you may want some bug spray.

Quick and easy stop but very interesting. The grooves are easy to access and the walking path makes seeing the grooves very safe.
