We originally came in to make our own glass Christmas ornaments, which was a really good time, but stayed to wander through the museum. After you make your own glass anything you realize just how difficult it is. It makes you appreciate the work in...More

Quite interesting glass museum - specializing in glass companies from Ohio. Not a large place but some great displays, very nice and attentive staff. They have a good glass library also. Definitely worth going to if in the area of Lancaster,. OH

This is a well appointed museum. It has many varieties of Ohio glass. Don’t miss the glass blowing exhibit. We have seen several demos and this one by Theresa was the best experience. If I were closer, I’d take a class there.

Seeing the history of glass in the region (Hocking Hills is the Hocking in anchor Hocking) was really interesting and the glass blowing demonstration was great. We even bought the piece he made and picked it up on the drive home from our trip.

My wife really enjoys this place and always brings home some of the Anchor glassware as well. They also have some beautiful glass made there in their studio. Worth the stop!

Docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Film is informative touching social history as well as the story of how pervasive glass production was in Ohio's economy in years gone by. The glassblowing demonstration is well done. The pristine glass display cases are filled with colorful pieces...More
