Climb this every day and you can forget about your boring stair stepper. On the 4th of July you can enjoy watching from the park or fairgrounds as fireworks fly off the mountain. Have a picnic by the lake

Enjoy a picnic, walk up the mountain to the top and overlook the fairgrounds. Watch the kiddos, they tend to run and this is not the place to run, caution from the patch and at the top!

Me and the old lady bring the kids here every once in a while to play on the playground. Nice looking tennis courts and a pond as well as a mountain to walk up.

Scenic view after a lovely hike up the mountain! Great playground for kids. Super well maintained. It has shelters for group picnics, a pond, ducks, fishing, tennis courts and wide field for races or frisbee! Such a lovely park!

The main draw in Rising Park is the arduous walk to the top of Mount Pleasant, where there is an impressive view of the city of Lancaster below. The path is wide, but uphill all the way! It's a good way to find out if...More

Like the title says ... it's a park ... what more did you expect? It's easy to find but nothing special unless, of course, you appreciate duck s*&t all around you.

I bring my two children with me so we stop to look at every bug and listen to each bird along the way so I can't tell you for sure. I can tell you it is not a long walk at all and it is worth the walk.
