All the information you need in one area.

Great place to stop and get any information that you need on the area. Friendly staff. Cute little butterfly photo op outside as well as the pencil sharpener museum.

I wish we would have stopped here before we started to explore Logan area and Hocking Hills. The Ladies working here are outstanding. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Excellent Area Information
Jul. 2021
If you are just coming into the area, and even if you have done some research ahead of time, stopping here for information is worth the trip. The staff here are a wealth of knowledge and able to guide you no matter what your pursuit in the area. We were very glad that we stopped otherwise we would have passed up Cedar Falls.

Staff is knowledgeable
Jul. 2021
Visited twice for books & tips. Staff was very nice & sure knew their business. Helped with tips & questions for first time visitors. The building has also of history covering all the topics of the area & even a small museum of pencil sharpeners. Had free wi-fi to catch up when one is off grid. Worth the stop to see it.

My husband and I got up and went to the Welcome Center first before exploring the trails which we planned to do that day but didn't know a lot about them yet. We appreciated being made to feel welcome and that someone was interested in helping us.

Make this your first stop in the Hocking Hills!
Jul. 2020
For first time visitors to the Hocking Hills, this is a must-do stop. The staff was so helpful and informative, especially at this time since the state parks had been closed due to the coronavirus so not everything was yet open. We got a map marked with the open sites and suggestions on what to do first. Of course, their info racks were crammed full with brochures and booklets that gave us some ideas on where to eat and what else to see while in the area. During these COVID-19 times, they are practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Thank you!

Picked up a map, was able to check out various menus at area restaurants. The workers were very helpful as it was our first trip to Hocking Hills.

Outstanding Welcome Center
Sep. 2019
Visit the world's only Pencil Sharpener Museum. The Welcome Center is a Monarch Butterfly Waystation. You can watch Monarch Butterflies emerge from their chrysalis and be released to begin their long journey to Mexico. There are many resources to make your visit extraordinary and very nice travel advisors to help direct you to exactly the experiences you desire.
