The Marblehead Lighthouse is the longest operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes. For a small fee, you may climb the steps to the top and get a view of Sandusky Bay. The Lighthouse Keeper's house has been turned into a museum on the first floor...More

Stopped here on our day trip to the lake. Light house is nice to go in and view from the top. Museum has history of the area. Had a little picnic before we left. Only complaint would be the May Flies.

Visited on the lighthouse on a random whim while in the area. We hopped on a last minute climb to the top of the lighthouse. $3.00 per person to climb to the top and it is worth it! Nice views of the surrounding islands and...More

This is such a pretty place and whilst not a large park it is beautifully kept and the views are lovely. For the enthusiast it is possible to climb up the lighthouse. There are rest rooms too.

We stopped by during a weekday to visit and had a splendid time. We arrived in time to tour the lighthouse and climb the stairs to the top. You did have to purchase a ticket to tour it, but the price was nominal. Aside from...More

We toured this lighthouse after stopping at Port Clinton's. This tour was more expensive & had less to it. There are 77 steps I believe so for someone who has issues with climbing steep stairs this may be very hard to do. There is a...More

Excellent tourist attraction for all ages. Excellent photo op spot! The lighthouse is not open for tours all the time (usually closed weekends) so I would check hours online before you visit. The Lighthouse keepers house is on the opposite side of the peninsula and...More

This makes a great stop and really should not be missed. Any time of year is great. Climbing to the top is a treat but not easy for those not good with stairs. It is a wonderful place to take photos of the family. Spend...More

There weren't any tours going on the day I was there but this place is so beautiful. I would love to come back and just spend the afternoon with a picnic and relax!

For a measly $3 admission fee you can walk to the top of the lighthouse and see the beautiful lake, all the nearby island (including Cedar Point) and birds. Be mindful that there are 77 curvy steps to get to the top. Also if you...More

Going to be coming from Cleveland heading to Mackinaw City this September and want to see as many lighthouses viewable from land as possible! Can someone help me plan a route along Lake Erie that is doable in a day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am new to the Great Lakes so I cannot help with your route. However, I can tell you that the Marblehead Lighthouse is worth seeing. There are also other attractions close by that wouldn't take up a lot of time but also... More

First of all, some of these answers are vague or just plain wrong. It costs three dollars for anyone over six years old to climb the tower, which I think is a bargain. I have visited the park itself many times but had never... More

Get in touch with park ranger. Believe with group 10 or more you can arrange private tour to the top too. And then buy yourself a brick with your wedding date for the walkway patio.
