The house is impressive, it was worth another stop for me while in the area. The home is really well kept and just beautiful. Of course, lots of information for the President.

I grew up in Mentor and passed the Garfield home every day on my way to school. It was only recently as an adult that I took the tour and it was great. I enjoyed learning unknown facts about President Garfield and his family while viewing the living quarters. I wish I attended this treasure as a child.

The James A Garfield home is beautiful and well worth a stop. Our tour guide, Barbara was excellent. She was knowledgeable and very personable. I hope to go back in the summer to see more of the grounds.

I've lived with Lawnfield within 15 minutes of my home for over twenty years, and finally visited! A tiny National Park, but full of information! Can't wait to go back for one of the 'special' tours behind-the-scenes!

We have visited here several times . I have arranged a couple of field trips here for homeschool groups and they are super accommodating! The entire place is nicely restored and maintained and the staff does a great job with tours!

We had been reading about President Garfield and decided to take the tour of his home. It was so informative and interesting. The Garfield family graciously donated the home and the belongings so that they could be shared. We're so glad that it is now a national historic site. Our tour guide was great. She was very well informed about... More

When I arrived at the museum, I got a tour right away, they were very informative lots of exhibits and artifacts from the 20th President's lifespan. I was highly surprised how good this museum was.
