Loved the wine train to benefit Stuart Opera House if Nelsonville, OH. Great ride and good wine! Thoroughly enjoyed and love benefiting local establishments.

We drove 2 1/2 hours with a 2 year old. What a disappointment. There is nothing scenic about the ride. It goes very slow and through awful areas of junk, queries, gravel pits. Santa was a hit mess and barely spent anytime with the kids....More

Would I recommend this tour? Yes, to people I don’t care for. I felt like I was part of a BBC documentary about ‘Trumps forgotten America’. The ‘scenery’ consisted of quarries, ton of pallets and homes with trash piled up. The train itself did have...More

We went down for the Santa Train. It was nothing like what we were expecting. The staff was not very friendly. First interaction we had with a staff was asking for the lift for someone in our group who had a broken leg and on...More

Now, I knew the scenic view would be pretty dismal this time of year, but I thought the Santa part would make up for it. All the children in our car certainly enjoyed Santa's very short visit through our car. While he was not visiting,...More

Avoid! 2 seconds with Santa- and two hours on a steamy overheated dumpy train car with such ‘scenic views’ as illegal trash dumps, abandoned tires, dogs chained in outdoor cages, swampland, and industrial work sites. Total rip off.

This is a great train ride especially during the fall to see the foliage. Reasonably priced so it will not bankrupt a family. They have enclosed and exposed cars. The trip is about 2 hours running through past Hadenville (company town for brick manufacture in...More
