Neat spot to do our Open Water.

Just finished three days of diving (11 dives in total ) at Gilboa. My first time there but I'd love to return. I've never seen such a large number of interesting underwater attractions in a relatively small (about 14 acre) area. They have a sunken corporate jet, helicopter, several boats, a pop machine, large metal tubes, a fallen tower, several... More

This rock quarry is 140' deep and crystal clear with a lot of fish who love to be fed. Excellent facility to train in or just leisure dive with a lot of things to explore on the floor. Choose your depth and have a great experience. I been diving this spot ever since it had water in it and was... More

We drove down from Ontario to Gilboa to get our Open Water dives in - definitely a really cool experience! They've got plenty of stuff underwater for you to check out - cars, trucks, a bus, planes etc - and the fish will swim close enough that you can touch them. It was a pretty busy weekend, but there seemed... More

They have lots of wood benches for getting ready to dive. They offer fish food for the fish which are fun to feed. They also offer a deep side for technical dive training. They have air and nitrox on site to fill tanks

This site is well set-up for divers with no close access to the ocean. The location offers camping, snacks, and air fills to keep any happy diver close to the water. Water temperatures can heat up quite well (> 75) in the summer, but they still drop below quite rapidly at the thermocline. When I was there in late August,... More

Great diving! Was impressed with the facility. Clean, beautiful scenery, plentiful fish, lots of visuals under water.

This was an excellent way to get SSI Scuba Diving Certificate thru The Dive Shop in Flint,MI. Great dive shop and the quarry was a wonderful spot for my 12 year old granddaughter and 4 additional divers. The bus, motorcycle, swim thru tires and incredible amount of fish created a great first experience!

If you live in the region there is no better place to dive ! Full service dive facility, air fills, equipment rental. Overnight camping available. Lots of "toys" are sunk in the shallow side where most people dive. Great place for open water training and gaining dive experience in low to mid range visibility. This will make you a better... There is a refill station and small dive shop on site. The quarry has some neat surprises to find while diving. Be sure to feed the fish over the school bus but hold on to your mask! It's a lot of fun!!!

Gilboa Quarry has a lot of amenities that most local quarries don't have, a full-service dive shop along with rentals a very nice area to spend the day diving, including overnight camping if you want.
