This was a very nice zoo. The property was clean and so were all of the animals. You can tell that they are well taken care of and healthy. The employees were so friendly everywhere we went! Wear your most comfortable walking shoes, it's a huge zoo!

What a great zoo. Jungle Jack Hanna definitely made this zoo amazing. From the easy layout (FOLLOW THE PATHS SO YOU DON'T MISS STUFF) to the clean restrooms and eating areas, this zoo is great. The animals are all very visible and there are a TON of staff around to talk to if you wanna know more about the animals.... More

Clean, LOTS to do and see, fun for all ages. I highly recommend the animals on safari show too! Its a lot to do in one day. The membership is pretty cheap and we definitely get our moneys worth by buying that. That way, we don't feel pressured to have to see it all in one day.

The Columbus Zoo has always been a place I loved going as a child and still do as an adult. I love the polar bear exhibit & safari.

This is an very well-done zoo. We found their map with tiny, tiny images of the animals a bit difficult to follow, but otherwise, it was a first-rate experience. The "zoo talks" are interesting and the ones we attended involve feeding the animals, so we got to see the polar bears diving for the frozen fish they were tossed as... More

the zoo has a lot of nice things to see. take 2 day if you can, a lot of ground to cover!! I have to say i have been in zoos were you seem a little more upclose with the animals and this was a HOT day so the animals were not very energetic. This is a great place for... More

First I have to say I have to congratulate the person who designed the zoo, because I love how it takes you round and round, by that I mean you start to see something and the passage takes you in a round walking that when you reach the end you end up where you entered or started, so that's very... This is definitely an all day affair but worth it. No steep hills to climb unless you go underground to see the polar bears. The animal enclosures are large and up close. We were fortunate enough to see the bears and cheetahs right next to the glass. The grounds are beautiful. Hands on experience in the aquarium. There are a... More

Great zoo with a wide variety of animals in natural settings. It is a large place so bring your walking shoes and plan on spending 6 to 8 hours if you want to see everything ! We really enjoyed the "Animals on Safari" show featuring animals rescued from various shelters. The animal trainers must be very gifted as they had... More

Newly expanded. Take your time on this one, there are so many things to see. One highlight is seeing the Cheetahs run at full speed. There's not many places you can see that in the United States.
