I've been visiting here since I was a kid, nearly 50 years. Always nostalgic to walk the trails, look at the lake, see the big Charles Brush rock.

Furnace Run is a nice family park with some shorter trails for those who like to amble, but not long enough for those who are looking for mileage. The Daffodil Trail was a bit disappointing, not because it wasn't blooming (it was) but because I...More

Nice path to walk the dogs on leash. 2 miles if you do both trails. Lots of picnic tables. And popular spot for fishing. Looks like you can rent the pavilion for special events.

Furnace Run is part of the Metro Parks, Serving Summit County park system. It is an off the beaten path park that is located in Richfield. It has a nice lodge that overlooks a beautiful lake. Both trails are challenging and scenic.

It is a beautiful park. The lake is awesome. I have performed several wedding ceremonies by the lake. My clients have just loved the park. The trails are great too.

What a perfect lodge for a party. Clean, accommodating restrooms, functional kitchen and lovely outdoor views. We highly recommend for any family party or gathering.

They advertise this as a daffodil paradise when in reality there are hardly any to be seen. How on earth they got away with that one is a mystery. Just another trail in the woods.

Peaceful trails, easy walking with clear wide paths, wildflowers and bridges, benches along the trail to rest. There is a pavilion there but did not use it.
