This is a nice walk and it’s not crowded. You’ll start from the parking area walking through fields then in the the hilly woods. It’s a nice hike to the Rockbridge , then the stone shelter loop hike is a nice, beautiful workout.
Nice nature state park. In my opinion the hike is moderate to difficult. The bridge is amazing and a little scary if you don’t like heights. If so don’t look over the sides of the bridge as it can make you dizzy.

This was the most strenuous hike in the area. Not bad or dangerous by any means but I would recommend good shoes and being ready for a steady steep climb back.
