This was a last minute add-on for our weekend stay in Sandusky. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, essentially we had a one hour personal guided tour through the 4 story Limestone Mansion! There is nice variety there, with a lot of period pieces...More

This house is well maintained and a short walk from the Sandusky Library. Docents were very knowledgable. Don't miss the upstairs with special exhibits.

This mansion turned museum has an amazing areay of historical artifacts. Not really much of a theme to it all, just a hodgepodge of cool stuff. If you have kids or are looking for a more hands on and accessible experience, try the maritime museum...More

The house itself was very cool to see. There were several rooms set up from the time period, and those were neat to see. That's what I was expecting from the whole house, but it was only a couple rooms. Otherwise, most rooms felt like...More

This museum seemed to be just rooms filled with various antiques from many different eras rather than displaying the house as it had been in the time period that it was built and lived in. It was still interesting as we love history, but I...More
