Came here with my girls and it's super fun. Found a few handfuls of fossils and rocks with shell designs in them, some tiny, some big. They should lay better material down so as to better find more fossils though. Bring your own spades as...More

I took my kids on a warm day in October of last year. It was about a 2.5 hour drive and I really had no real expectations of what they would fine. I was hopeful they would find something and they certainly did. I see...More

Just fun place to take young kids. Fossiles are plenty and easy to find, and the fossiles found can be taken to home.

I have never been here before and decided to go at the last minuet. There was nobody here when we came because the rain was rolling in. We got about 15 minuets of digging until the sky opened up on us. We managed to find...More

Have a family with younger kids? Want to find an activity that doesn't have a screen that keeps them outside and busy? This is perfect place for you! There is a large area that was formerly part of a stone quarry. You can now dig...More

Yes you were able to find fossils but you could not use tools to find them . They have a sign posted and that's one of the rules that you can use chisels hammers or any sort of tool. Recommended as a family activity
