Ordered the marinated and grilled portobella mushroom sandwich. Comes on grilled ciabatta with tri-color peppers, red onion and Monterey Jack cheese. Excellent flavor and juicy. You get your choice of homemade fries, chips or rice. I went with the fries, which were great. My husband got a burger, made to his liking. We were there on Sunday during NFL game,... More

Great neighborhood bar with great bar food with Doc Watson's twists. Service is great, prices are right and a great atmosphere. I especially liked the broiled tilapia with rice and green beans. Others in our group enjoyed perch, beef steak sandwiches and a host of other great meals.

Doc Watson's is near the University of Toledo Medical Center and is a regular staff hangout for breakfast every day but Monday and for after work. That said, my own experience is lunch. Interior is classic bar, industrial ceiling, two spacious eating areas with booths and tables and a pretty busy place but generally with seating available. The menu runs... More

THE BEST FOOD HANDS DOWN 5 star quality 1 star prices. Caters to the medical crowd heavy so you know they are good. Best entertainment to boot!!!! They give away their food and drinks.

Food is great. They have a very extensive menu. It is a great place to go after enjoying a Walleye or Mud Hens game. They have drink specials all the time. We have our favorite server and she always provides great service. It can get a little loud in there with bands but definitely check it out!

While I agree with the previous posters that the food is good at Doc Watson's, I'm really surprised to see this ranked as the #3 attraction in Toledo. It is no different than any other decent bar/restaurant and isn't something that someone with limited time in the city should go out of their way for. If you are a tourist... More

This bar is tops on my bar crawl list as a Southender .Never had a bad meal there and I have had just about everything on the list except steak. The Best beer?--Try the Bell's Oberon Draft in the summer months --it is to die for!The Village Idiot also has it in Maumee. The worst part!--They took away our smoking... More

Looking to grab a bite and a beer? Doc's is the place. The menu offers a wide selection (more than the typical bar fare) and food is cooked to order. The burgers don't disappoint and the house specialties are equally good. Portions are large (leftovers are always a plus if you plan to stay after dinner and imbibe). Beer specials... More
