A gem in a busy city -- Wildwood offers everything - a manor house where tea is served, picnic areas and hiking trails. Especially great at Christmas time when the Manor House is decorated and offered free to visitors.

What is not to like about this park?! It has great trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing (my wife and I have done all three), including portions near the Ottawa River that are over a wooden boardwalk. The park is easily accessible via car...More

Absolutely beautiful. Outside the manor house are campfires, s'mores and even a place for kids to craft ornaments at the metropark hall. Fun for the entire family. In 2017 it is open from December 2 until the 17th.

Paths that include boardwalks through the woods and paved paths. Great place to take the kids and walk around. Usually a good number of people on a sunny day. I love the clean restrooms and places to sit and just enjoy the sunshine. Always delightful....More

My wife and I visit this nearby park to walk and jog in the woods located in an area of urban activities. Great getaway for a little peace in a wooded area with some great scenery.

Yes! All the metroparks are free and fabulous! They have expanded rapidly in the last few years, adding parks I haven't even been to yet. You can get lots of info at metroparks toledo (all one word) period com. Enjoy!
