This is my favorite park in Toledo. There are several different trails, depends on your mood, through the woods, by the water, through the grasslands. It's a great place to go with my dog, when the trails are muddy or icy, we can still walk on the paved trail. I also love this park for running, family gatherings….It's just a... More

Wildwood has everything a person could want! Paved trails, wooded trails, dirt trails, beautiful gardens, grounds kept well, park, open fields, and much more! You can also access University Trails, which is a really nice long paved path for biking, rollerblading, running, etc. I haven't been able to find a path like that since I moved!

I love this park. It's beautiful and spacious. It's well kept and there's a meeting place (and bathroom) in the center. It has paved paths, as well as dirt paths. It fits the needs of many people and families.

There is always a lot of activity going on at Wildwood Park; its a great place for a picnic, with a play area and restroom close by. Great bike and walking trails, and of course the Manor House garden area is beautiful when flowers are in bloom. My grandkids enjoyed going for an adventure (walking the trail) instead of the... I go to Wildwood quite often for the walking trails. Sometimes you see deer in the woods and sometimes not. Many different trails to take Restrooms available at the start of the trail head. They do have trail monitors but its always a safe and pleasant place to go. There are picnic areas and swings etc for younger children. A... More

Newly updated playgound. Climbing, spin toys, larges swings and slides. Hiking for all ages. I made a scavenger hunt where kids had to find, acorn, pine cones, yellow and red leaves and spot 3 squirrels and a chipmunk. They have a small bird wathcing area. Lots of photo opportunities. One trail follows water. Only negative was the vending machines were... More

Toledo has a number of excellent Metro Parks, but Wildwood is the best of them all. Lots of great walking trails, a covered bridge, an elevated lookout, manor house, picnic areas, plenty of room for children to play and lots of wildlife. A jewel in Toledo's crown!
