Unfortunately it was the end of the season and the greens had been plugged - so putting was a little tricky. But the layout of this course is really nice - it goes through a housing sub-division but there is still plenty of natural landscaping....More
Have played Gleneagles many times this summer. Varied layout and multiple tee boxes allow for most ages and skill levels. Some greens are starting to show evidence of disease. Good value for the experience and money.
I've played here for years and they've consistently put money into the course and improved it. A couple of years ago they moved the cart paths to the outside of the course, particularly on the back 9, which removed the problem of cart drivers driving...More
Gleneagles is a 69.5/120 slope and rating from the white. 5942 yards, multiple water hazards and some nicely placed traps. You can spray a little on drives but good second shots are needed. Greens were medium speed with plenty of angles but putted pretty true....More
Course was in great shape! First time here in 20 years. Amazing to see the changes, roads, housing, driving range...Anyway, classy course. The club house is almost as small as it was 20 years ago!!! Need to expand already. Would have been nice to see...More
