I'm currently in school to become a dental assistant. Our class met up in Guthrie for a field trip. It was really interesting and a little mind boggling to see the old medications and instruments used. Really not all that long ago. It makes you...More

This small museum has a wealth of interesting items to look at. The décor is just like an old time drugstore. We wished it had a little more space, but was very nicely arranged.

One of the or perhaps the largest collection of pharmacy related things from the frontier era of Oklahoma. Plus, the Apothecary Garden is next door and maintained by the museum. It is both fun and educational.

But for me it was walking the town, beautiful architecture and all the (ghost signs) which are old advertising signs from by gone times. They have several. The museum was great but nothing special.

Entrance is free, but with a donation requested box in the front. It was a neat little museum. It was crazy to see how far we've come in medicine. Poke your head in if you're in the area, not worth a detour.

Never imagined that medicine has came so far. Old potions, and lotions make for entertaining reading.
