Really enjoyed this free museum and apothecary garden. All of the old medicines were very interesting, but the old wheelchair, typewriter, dental chair and office setup, were not to be missed. The old soda fountain was also fun to see. Worth the stop!

This little museum is packed with interesting pharmaceuticals and old photos, and bottles and anything to do with a drugstore. I don't know which I had more fun looking at: the old bottles, or the photos. There is no charge, but a $2 donation is...More

You could easily spend hours in this place. The inventory of old medicines, remedies and equipment is unreal. They encourage you to go behind the counters and get a better look. The names of some of the items were hilarious!

This is a must see if you are in Guthrie. Everything from pharmacies and medical equipment from the past. Old cocaine tax stamps when it was prescribed and included in the first Coca-Cola. You have to visit!

Unexpectedly interesting. Wasn't planning on spending much time there, but the information was great. Check out the herb garden next door.

I'll admit that I'm in the older generation, though not old enough to really remember old-timey drug stores. However, I grew up in a town that had one of the last drug stores in the state and had an ice cream counter that served malts...More

My dad was a pharmacist and I grew up in the pharmacy and this was a wonderful flashback for me. I could have spent a week there looking at all the tinctures and ointments and talcs and gels and and and. This is a great...More
