We love Frontier City, Wild West Water Works & the concerts, haunted exhibits in Oct., etc. We eat before or after b/c the food is nothing exceptional & there are places to eat within a block or two of there.

As a teacher, I would say that is situational and depends on when a child can be trusted to act in a manner they don't need adult supervision.
