The Museum of Osteology is "America's Only Skeleton Museum". The Museum of Osteology, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a unique educational experience. Focusing on the form and function of the skeletal system, this 7000 square ft. museum displays hundreds of skulls and skeletons from all corners of the world. Exhibits include adaptation, locomotion, classification and diversity of the vertebrate kingdom.

Two stories of animal bones and even some primitive to modern humans. We saw a giant whale, Komodo dragon, snakes, bats, rhinoceros, giraffe, dogs, deer, cats, tigers, lions, hippos, mice, and ape skeletons. Plus many more. Takes about an hour or so to see everything....More

The museum itself is small, or at least smaller than one would expect, but it is filled with the skeletons of so many animals! This is a good place to go on a rainy day to kill (pun intended) a couple of hours. Definitely recommend

Outside of building very plain. Inside it has skeletons of everything from sharks to Giraffes. Everything very well displayed. It is a pretty amazingly exhibition two stories tall. Recommend for all ages. Our group was 5 to 66 years of age

This was a really neat find It is a bone museum The founder supplied skeletons to museums and doctors and seems to have put the extra ones on display or as we thought Maybe these were the skeletons from the clients who didn’t pay joke!...More

I went with my husband, a 17 year old and an 11 year old. Both girls. They liked it okay.. but my animal/science loving one was not as interested as I thought. It was very cool though overall. I feel like we all learned/saw something...More

Talk about unusual and off the beaten path -- come to the museum to see and touch skeletons from all species and sizes of animals (humans included). It is a ONE OF A KIND museum and should not be missed. You gotta love a place...More
