OKC has a great FF museum. I'm a Firefighter myself so I figured it could go either lane or good and it's very good. The folks there do a great job of collecting pieces of historical significance and current relevance to the job. There is plenty to see and enough for anyone to enjoy.

Visited in August. Small, interesting museum. Very clean. Lots of beautiful antique fire apparatus to view. Amazing collection of scale model metal toy fire trucks and ambulances from the 1940's thru 1970's. Nice bathrooms. Lovely memorial to firefighters outside the building. A must for anyone who is a firefighter, or interested in the topic. Kids will love seeing the apparatus--they... More

This is a small, but interesting, museum holding a vast collection of objects. As my Father-in-law is a fire-fighter in Germany, this visit was mostly for him, but we all enjoyed it, even saw some memorabilia from my own home state in Australia! Sadly there is not much in the way of information telling you what all the objects are,... More

I had read that this museum was small which it is. I had a 6 & 9 year old with me. They are very touchy so they were miserable with me having to keep telling them don't touch. Wish this museum was more kid friendly like allowing kids to climb on fire trucks.

Had some time to kill and went to three different museums. This was by far my favorite of the three. It also didn't hurt that everything was inside either as it was pushing 100 deg outside. Lots of firetruck in good restored condition. A nice selection of Ben Franklin memorabilia. Several items of Oklahoma historical significance. Altogether worth the entrance... More

Its smaller than expected but was a blast for my boys. Will probably return to spend a little more time going thru the Museum at my own pace.

This place was well put together and amazing to see. The patches collection is unbelievable. Very friendly people. The monument with names is humbling and beautiful. Must see for all fire fighters

There are many nice fire trucks on display. The first Oklahoma fire station, a small log cabin is on display. Small gift shop. Nice outside memorial.

The collection of fire trucks is interesting. They are beautifully restored and well kept. There are some other exhibits about firefighting but they do not hold attention as the fire engines do. The reconstruction of the first firehouse in OK, though, is very interesting. It's made of flammable wood!
