Great history, incredible art, good programs for kids, outstanding gift shop! It's hard to find places that I can take my kids (boys aged 14, 12, 7) knowing that they will have a great time as will I. This is one of those places.

The Sunday brunch is delightful and one if the best in the region. Of particular note is the tea smoked salmon, duo salad and parmesan artichoke cheese dip with coriander crusted pitas. Make a reservation and grab a freah plate each return to Te buffet. Enjoy the gardens free after your brunch. Mixed drinks and specific coffee drinks seems to... More

If nothing else, you need to come here to see The Little Shepherdess painting by Bourgereau. It is the most hauntingly "alive" painting I have ever seen. But there are always interesting temporary displays of art or popular culture. A few years ago they had a show about Cherokee leaders visiting England in the seventeenth century. It's not just art,... More

It was the home of one of the Phillips' oil barons, built with a love of beauty, architecture, and excellence in master craftsmen. That it would become a well known haven of famous art at every turn is a diamond in Tulsa's tiara!. Rotating special events bring world renowned works to tempt repeated visits. It's a bride's dream for a... More

You did not come to Tulsa for it's art museum. The Philbrook has probably the best Sunday brunch in Tulsa although a little pricey by Tulsa's standard. It also boasts beautiful grounds to explore. However its primarily early American art is pedestrian. Better to explore the thriving art community in Tulsa. The Gilcrease is also a better option. It's collection... More

While my teen & tween realize that art museums are a wonderful place, it's always helpful to have some conversation starters at this age. Philbrook offers cards (the size of playing cards) that prompt visitors of all ages to look more closely together. One card asked us to "find a work of art that shows strength." Another asked us to... More

Well worth the time of any Tulsa visitor to experience a truly unique art gallery. The gardens are a must and the brunch/lunch is always good.

In the Summer you can enjoy seeing the beautiful and well maintained gardens and in the Winter you can see the garden lit with Christmas lights. All year round you will experience an amazing museum full of art and history.
