Living in Kansas city area we love jazz and was really looking forward to seeing this and boy was it a disappointment. A few pictures even less instruments. 1 small entrance and a few pics in a very short hallway. You can see it all in 10 minutes. The only good thing was that it was free and on Tuesday... More

Great place to visit and the host is inviting. Try to go on an evening when the Jazz groups are playing.

A photographers dream, this place is full of history, at one point during our visit there was a live band outside playing. I was lucky enough to get to this place with the right weather for an amazing view, there is also lots of places around it, that are a site in its self (center of the universe & a... More

So many things happened here. I even departed on my first train trip from this building in the Fall of 1970. Beautiful building with a wonderful history.

Mostly contemporary and classic jazz but you may also hear blues, folk, big bands, bluegrass, western swing or a bassoon group practicing for their next gig. Tuesday night jam sessions for jazz and blues are free and very interesting. Other nights feature local, regional and national artist, check the web site for current events. Parking could be better so arrive... More

Whether it's the Tuesday night jam sessions or special events, the energy, music and style of the Jazz Hall is amazing. And the Jazz Hall goes out of it's way to support and promote Jazz education in Tulsa. Great people, great jazz, great times.

My cousin had her wedding reception here and I was amazed at how beautiful the place was. The dance area was surprisingly large, and they were able to separate the buffet area from the dance floor. The tables and chairs for eating were set up all around the dance floor, and still there was plenty of room for walking around.... More
