This is accessible to all travelers. Although there is a path leading down to the beach, it is a very long hike down and back up. Farther north (nearer to the lighthouse) we found a public beach access in a residential area. It required little...More

There is a nice parking lot to view the rocks. They are just rocks. I couldn't find the face. The old Indian legend regarding the name was nowhere to be seen or read. It wasn't worth the stop for me.

Very picturesque vistas and beach walk. The stacks are majestic, evoking a natural timelessness. While we were there in late afternoon, sunset should be quite special.

Great spot to see Face Rock and all the other interesting rock formations on the beach! One of my favorite places on the Oregon Coast!

Oregon coast in the wind and the sun with obelisks of rocks jutting from the sand from every perspective. Numerous “faces” and “bodies” to be found in various rocks strewn for a couple miles makes this beach a great place to walk and enjoy the...More

Having grown up close by, I spent many a day on the beach below this lookout. The views of the stacks from here are fantastic, and there is now an art show that is performed in the sand below the lookout “Circles in the Sand”...More

I almost don't want to review this glorious place and bring too much attention to it and alert the masses that might want to mess things up! What a fantastic beach! Maybe it was the time of the year we came or the drizzly weather,...More

Good view point of Face Rock. Minimal parking (maybe 10-15 cars), plenty of space this time of year on a Friday. Short loop with access to the beach.

This is a beautiful area of cosstline. Make sure you bring a jacket and hat as the wind can be chilly. Fall is the nicest windfree time

I've seen dogs and horses on the beach, and dogs at the viewpoint. I don't think there are any restrictions.
