The lighthouse was beautiful, as most are, but there wasn't signage for it, we just drove toward the river until we found it. The area it is in is at the end of 'old town', and there wasn't landscaping or any apparent pride in the...More

Have been to many Oregon beaches, but this is the first time we have seen so many people surf fishing. They were catching Surf Perch right on the beach and lots of them.

I love light houses. This one is a little different design then you usually see along the Oregon coast. It is fun to walk out on the large rocks but beware, the waves sneak in and my husband got wet! Unfortunately we got there on...More

Take the drive that follows the river and estuary, past the campground. There are a couple parking lots back there, with at least one unisex pit toilet building. The lighthouse is open at times, and manned by volunteers. It's never been open when we were...More

Take your honey on a driftwood date that will be worth that exploration. curious weathered piles wash up everywhere and the light house just makes it even more magical to explore. Out side time, photography time, walking on the shore, cool wood time. Take a...More

Amazing historic lighthouse, erected in the 1890's. The views in this area are breathtaking. The beach near the lighthouse is covered in huge driftwood. From every angle, the photo opportunities are endless :)

This old lighthouse is very picturesque standing on the bank of the river, at the Pacific Ocean. Great photos can be taken at the site or across the river. The lighthouse accessible via Bullards Beach State Park, just south of Bandon on the south side...More

The lighthouse is easy to access. Very short hike from the parking lot. At one time you could drive right by it, but part of the road has been washed away. There were large chunks of driftwood on the road. It was a startling reminder...More

This is always my first stop when I visit Bandon. The Lighthouse is a stunning backdrop for photos, and the Jetty walk is always fun; HOWEVER word of advice, watch the water the currents come in quick, and the waves can quickly overcome the jetty...More

Bullards is a great stretch of beach but the Coquille Lighthouse is the symbol of Bandon. The lighthouse presides over the point where the Coquille River meets the ocean. I have seen small whales and dolphins in the channel at times but always enjoy the...More

To park, yes. Turning around maybe. It depends on how big of truck and trailer and how many other guests there are. However the road it is on its not a busy road and banking into the driveway or out shouldn't be difficult. I... More

You can not park close to the Lighthouse, single lane road. There is a wider lot further back, but the parking can be full. The campground is nearby, maybe you can leave the trailer there.
