We went to Coquille Point because I had read it's a great place to tide pool. Boy were they right! Our low tide wasn't too low (a little over 2 ft) and we had a great time. Check the tide schedules and if the tide...More

Make sure to make the Brandon Loop Road part of your itinerary when in Bandon. Coquille Point is the first and most beautiful of the three viewpoints along the road. There is a paved trail that wanders along the top of the rim with beautiful...More

Zillion stairs to the very nice beach. With adequate footwear there could be some great tidepools at very low tide. Birdwatchers probably adore this spot.

We love walking this extensive beach, which we were lucky enough to visit at low tide. Maybe I shouldn't be writing a review at all, since part of the charm was the relative lack of crowd! Steep stairs down to beach, but worth it to...More

It's very breathktaking viewing from the top of the cliffs! There are paved trails to the cliff edges (almost!). Several beach access sets of stairs are nearby. Excellent place to watch sunsets.

A must is to walk the laberinyth on the beach. It is the most beautiful coastline on the west coast. Our first time we loved it so much we eventually moved here to Bandon.

Stumbled on this by accident on our way out of Bandon and then spent more than an hour watching seals and seabirds and enjoying the view. It captivates! Hip and back issues kept us from taking the stairs to the beach, but path on lookout...More

Driving through Bandon on US-101, there is a barely noticeable "Beach Access" sign at 11th St SW. I love rugged beauty of the southern Oregon coast and this is without a doubt in my Top 5 scenic places, especially just after dawn as the early...More

This stop has several options for walking. You can stay on top and that is wheelchair friendly or take the 139 steps to the beach. No restrooms at this location. the view is spectacular with plenty of benches to take it all in.
