Went with a friend while the wives went shopping. Rode the chairlift to the summit. Beautiful scenery and calm, relaxing time on the outdoor patio. Not much to do (e.g. snack bar or cafetería) - but it was summer, no ski season. Enjoyed watching the...More

A slow chair ride up to the restaurant. Enjoy the views of the Sisters and Sparks Lake. We saw many people going up with mountain bikes. The chair lift has bike racks for carrying them up the mountain.

We took our mountain bikes on the lifts. No lines. Friendly staff. Some breaking bumps on the trails. Good options on the bike rentals.

We camped on the paved parking area for two nights. The area was very active with mountain bikers. We took a lift to the restaurant and enjoyed a sunset dinner.

Loved the chair lift ride up to the top for great American BBQ dinner. Views just awesome. Great fun to watch the mountain bikers coming down the trails and loved that there was still snow on the ground in July!

We had skied at Mount Bachelor before and wanted to try mountain biking. With skiing the equipment is relatively inexpensive if you buy it used, so they nail you with the lift ticket price. With mountain biking it's the opposite. It only cost $20 for...More
