We stopped into a local bike shop in Bend Oregon and were well taken care of by Nick. During our discussions he directed us to Mt Bachelor and his family dog sledding business. What a wonderful experience meeting his wife (3x National champion/4x Iditarod participant) Rachael and her father Jerry. Got to meet the dogs and go for a short... More

What a great adventure! We received a Christmas groupon and had to reschedule due to bad weather. It was worth the wait! The overcast sky made for great photos and beautiful vistas. We arrived early enough to see the dogs arrive and get harnessed. They were eager to get going! It was also a treat for my Iditarod fan husband... More

I bought two groupons as Christmas gifts for my fiancé and my brother and sister-in-law. We arrived about 30 minutes early and had a very warm welcome from mushers as well as the dogs!!!! Our weather was beautiful and our guide Nick was amazing!!!! I would highly recommend this for all ages of the your family!!!!

We took the 1 hour tour today with Nick as our guide and had a wonderful experience. We are a family of dog lovers, including two kids ages 10 and 8, and loved the ride, learning about these amazing dogs, and petting them before and after the ride. The dogs were obviously very well cared for and happy, and the... More

Our whole family came to the trip. My wife myself and 4 kids 14,11,8 & 5. All enjoyed to be with those amazing dogs and amazing people running this activity. All were veey veey friendly, the dogs and the mushers. Each 3 ride in a sled - a tip, you can not go together. Each sled on its own. Another... More

This company is a joke. We bought a gift certificate through a school auction for a sled ride. We booked over a month in advance and we were told we were good to go. We drive through a wonderful storm to get there and discover our name is not on the list. We called the main office (since nobody was... More

Two days after Christmas my wife and I took two of our grandsons (ages 3 and 7) on a one hour dog sled ride from the lower parking lot at Sunrise Lodge at the Mount Bachelor ski area into the national forest and back while the rest of our family group went cross-country skiing for the morning. Pulled by 10... More

My husband and I received a sled ride as a Christmas gift. We loved it! The dogs really love to run. When we pulled over on the trail a few times the dogs whined and howled until they were able to run again! Our guide was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions. It was evident that... More

Very dissapointing experience with Oregon Trail of Dreams. Booked a great day of dog sledding for today and upon arriving at Mt Bachelor we were told that dog sledding was closed for not enough snow and someone should have called us to let us know. No such call was received and was told during reservation that the snow looked great... More
