Went on a week night in July arrived after 6pm. No issues finding a parking spot. No long traffic backups. Crowds were not that bad. Yes there were many people on the bridge but on my return from the hike to the top, the crowd...More

This was a beatiful site to visit. The hike to the top of the falls is fairly easy and paved, but it is over a mile, mostly uphill--bring water. The views at the top are spectacular, but the look over the falls isn't really great....More

Get there early!!! We got there around 7 and beat the crowd. We hiked other places around the area and when we got back around 1, it was PACKED on a Wednesday. The hike to the top of the falls has 11 switch backs. It's...More

It was hard to reach to the top though the view was breathtaking. It is better to bring a water bottle and towel with you if you wanna reach to the top, as the humidity is quite high. P.s. It was not easy to find...More

The best way to go is drive on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The first stretch is filled with fresh berry stands, selling blue berries, cherries, blackberries, etc. Then you arrive at the Latourell Falls, followed by the Bridal Veil Falls; both beautiful falls are...More

Your overall experience is going to depend on when you get here. If you get here early (before 9am on ANY day, not just a weekend), you will have a great experience. Anything after 9am and you're in for a headache. I drove the entire...More

It's wheelchair accessible in case you need to know that. Such an incredible and enjoyable view. They have a nice chalet type of store at the bottom where you can buy coffees and look at the view while sitting in a nice cafe section of...More

The falls are beautifully set on the mountain side, and the bridge over it magical. Well, it would've been if it weren't so crowded... The fact that it is so easy accessible makes sure you'll never be there alone.... If you're into getting more in...More

Amazing waterfall, cool bridge and then there is the hike. You have to be ready for this climb. There are eleven switchbacks to the top and it is not easy. If you are in average shape just take your time. If not, take it really...More

If you are visiting Columbia River Gorge, go early and get out fast. Don't stop anywhere except Multnomah Falls as all of the other falls are hardly worth stopping at. We unfortunately came late on a Friday afternoon and suffice it to say the place...More

Depending on the snow melt, the flow of water can impact your choice of 'better.' Multnomah is taller and has better photo opps. Hiking paths are also better.

It's a little breezy on the trail as it is shaded and a little misty. We still took the short hike to the observation bridge wearing only shorts and T-shirts and were very comfortable. If you struggle with it being cooler... More
