As we ended our Oregon Coast journey southward, even towards the bottom of Oregon it was still an amazing view. The formations are just beautiful. How do huge "rocks" turn into arches? Just super to see!

For a city state park, this is an exceptional offering. There are overlooks, terails and you're almost right in town!

My son went there years ago and recommended we visit. Remember the movie the goonies.... well you can just imagine it happening right there. You can walk easily and climb on the huge boulders there and talks in the Panera,a

Love coming here either to walk on the beach, storm or whale watch. Parking lot up on top affords great views of the ocean and beach. Love eating lunch right in the car while watching for whales, or even just to watch the waves roll in. Days when I have more time, love to walk the path and feel the... More

Took a few hours to wander around here and tide pool. Wonderful place to take pictures. Even saw whales in Sept. Best part of the day was the sunsets. Liked it so much, we came back 3 nights.

Best campground I've stayed at in years. Well kept. Great amenities. Super helpful and friendly campground hosts (Feb 2017 whoever they were then). Excellent coastal walks, picnic area, scenic vistas, day use area too.

One of Oregon's true treasures. Beautiful, clean beaches. Well kept campgrounds.Campground has yurt rentals, clean restrooms, showers and on-site laundry facility. Campsites feel very private as most are surrounded by hedges. Many bike and walking trails.Great place to watch a the sunset over the ocean.Easy access to Brookings restaurants, hotels, port.

Make a pit stop at Harris Beach a priority. Easy acess just west off of Highway 101 north of Brookings. There are several viewing levels plus a forested trail with great parking throughout. The beach is easy to walk or roll down a gently sloping and paved path to the south and a trail to the north. There are fabulous... More

We have camped at Harris Beach State Park a couple of times over the last two years and we will definitely be going back! The campgrounds are beautiful and the campsites provide plenty of room. The showers are clean and spacious and are completely free! The campground also has a playground, which our kids love and a jr. rangers program,... More
