I'm a local here in Brookings. This is a great beach for families, there are nice bathrooms, a foot washing station, lots of chipmunks and seagulls, this beach is even wheel chair accessible, given you have the proper stroller or wheelchair to drive into sand ;) You wont be disappointed. If you're into more of a nature trail down to... More

Wonderful weather--sunny, but just enough breeze to keep it cool. Not a lot of people--just one other dog walker kind enough to take our picture! A beautiful stop on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.

I love this beach. It has everything, sand, rocks, long walks. And even when it is crowded, it is not crowded. Close to Brookings, and yet light years away. One of Southern Oregon's best beaches.

Stopped here to watch the sunset and have the kids play on the beach while staying in Brookings. A really nice, easily accessible beach with lots of room. There is a little, very short hike down from the parking lot to the sand, so if you have a very old or infirm person with you, just be aware to maybe... More

I stayed here two nights, April 3rd and 4th. I was having a serious bout of vertigo, so much so that i thought i might be having a heart attack. Your staff member Connie stayed with me waiting for an ambulance and after they left She made frequent checks on me. Next morning Jean showed up, wanted to know how... More

Camped at the Park for two nights. The campground is undergoing renovations, which are much needed, and reservations were not available. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and lucked out getting the last site (A22) on a bluff overlooking the ocean below. Our site had electricity, no water. Other nice sites: C-1 and A-18, which have water and power.... More

Campground and facilities are well cared for. We watched whales pass by on their trip to Alaska feeding grounds from the parking lot sitting in our vehicle. Met other campers from several states. All impressed with the park. One mile to town for shopping, not far from Redwoods.

The park has RV and tent camping, but we never use them. The beach has nice sandy spots as well as beautiful rocks and an island. Easy access from Hwy 101

We have been here multiples times. This visit we parked in the upper parking lot before you get to the campground entrance and walked the longer but easy trail down. Parking was easy. No bathrooms at this area. The restrooms are down the hill at the main parking area.

We have camped here many times. There is a detached beach where we picnic and wade. We enjoyed the view of surf breaking over the rocks. In the morning we picked huckleberries to put in the pancakes. Yurts are available that allow a little drier camping experience.
