The beach was absolutely gorgeous and clean. My husband, 9 month old daughter, and I made a quick trip to visit since we stayed the night in Seaside. My only complaint is that the town needs more signage to get to the beach and for...More

I love the Oregon Coast, and Cannon Beach was wonderful! Lots of tide pools around the rocks at low tide, and great beach combing. Lots of easy access to the beach from hotels and parking areas, too.

Giant expanse of beach, dog friendly, and the sand is rather firm, so walking and running is easy. At low tide, the beach is absolutely enormous!

Our first time to fly into Portland, hence drive to Cannon Beach. My husband and I were absolutely intoxicated by the beauty and freedom to roam on the open beach. Coming back again and again and again!

It was a cold and wet day to visit the historic rock, but the good thing was it was not crowded. I'm sure on a summer day there would be hundreds of sightseers.

Lots of people and close lodging. Beautiful views and sandy beach. Suggest checking out Bill's Tavern and getting the halibut fish and chips.

Pictures just don't do it justice. Great flat beach that you can walk easily. Dogs and kids were everywhere. Was better than expected.

We did see a few places for drinks in Cannon Beach, but Karaoke I think would be a stretch. Seaside is just a few minutes away, and I think would be a better bet for night life. These seaside towns are much more alive... More

I can't recommend either of those places, but the Tillamook Cheese Factory was really good. Also enjoyed the Ecola State Park

There are dogs everywhere. Knock yourself out! Just don't be filthy and rude and take the dog into a restaurant. Nobody wants to see Fido sitting at the table with you
