We visited Cannon Beach for the first time in November. The beach was not crowded (before noon) and we got some great photos. Beach was very clean.

Be sure to walk directly to Haystack for a magnificent closeup view. The beach is lovely - just check the tides.

Visit Cannonbeach.org and get alerts on when the scientists will be analyzing the tide pools and the Bird Sanctuary. Great day trips for locals.

Haystack rock is a 235ft remaining evidence of an ancient shoreline. Beautiful area and nice public beach to walk.

Stayed at hotel close by so this was our view every day. Whole coast is unbeleievable, stop either at Ecola park or in Canon Beach to see these wonderous gifts of nature

I absolutely loved this place. Haystack is so much bigger than I imagined from seeing pictures. Do it!

You can no longer visit the Goonies' house in Astoria. There are no trespassing signs in the driveway. I read another review that said if you ride down a side street on a bike you can somewhat see it.
