You can't get to this lighthouse, and if you could you might not want to, but the mystique is fascinating. Read about the history, watch the YouTubes on it. It's not a friendly place, but fascinating. It's called "Terrible Tilly" and it was a lighthouse...More

If you love history and lighthouses, this is a must-see. A short walk through Ecola State Park takes you to the best view of the lighthouse. But if you are serious about learning what went on here, you need to check it out on the...More

We saw this lighthouse from the day use area of Ecola State Park. Bring a zoom lens or binoculars for the best views.

It was a majestic looking lighthouse way out in the water on its rock island. It looked quite eerie with all the waves crashing in the foreground. Cool setting and great for pictures.

Hey it's a lighthouse! You can see it, but you cannot touch it. Oh well, its cool anyway. Go to Oregon, they need your money!

Even though the lighthouse is way out in the ocean, the adventure was going on a hike to get the best view. Glad I got to see it. It was just a mother/daughter hike. Trip advisor didn't provide that option.

This could be nice if you were a bit closer...or on a boat. From shore and with the naked eye, its nothing special. With the right lens, you'll know you are looking at a lighthouse. You'll be able to see the lighthouse in the distance...More

It was nice to see the lighthouse but cannont access the island. Viewing from Ecola State park & Cannon Beach area was about as close as you can get.
