It is fabulous to have a place so close to home where you can experience nature and get great exercise.

My wife and I hike this trail pretty regularly. It's close by, but is secluded enough from the city to make you feel like you are away from civilization. It's about 2.4 miles around the lower portion which is perfect for us. If you are wanting a little bit more, just head up to the upper portion.

I was just here today doing the loop trail as we live walking distance to the park. We did see one deer but that was it. It is a nice walk but if I was visiting from out of town I would not bother visiting as there are nicer hikes up the Colombia River Gorge or Silver Falls by Salem.... More

Saw deer wandering the area. During week not crowded. Very beautiful area, close in. Some of the trails are very steep, so caution is required. Disappointed that leashed dogs are not allowed.

This is one of my only 5 star ratings. This tiny nature park is simply amazing. The loop around the park is about 45 minutes long. The loop over the crest about 30 minutes. The trails are well maintained and for the small size of the mountain its easy to feel your deep in the woods at some points. This... More

We visit the nature park a few times per year and seem to take a different combo of routes each time. Fun for the kids to check the signage and guide the way - using sticks to measure the distance on the maps. Small parking areas around the park with trails that lead in. Well kept and well marked. Seeing... More

Like the trails and they are in a beautiful woodsy setting but really disappointed we couldn't bring our little sweet dog even leashed. Come on, wildlife can handle a dog or 2.

A beautiful wooded hike. There is a 2 mile and 4 mile hike. Great paths, nice uphill grade. Beautiful wooded trails. No dogs allowed!

the trails are in great shape, but there is nothing distinctive about this hike. It's just a nice walk.
