We met up at the Whale Museum. Not much of a destination on its own, but it was an interesting place to pass the time until the excursion started. The boats were comfortable - no issue with sea sickness. We saw so many gray whales!...More

Absolutely stunning and a must go! Hit the first whale in 2 min and kept seeing them throughout the ride. Carrie definitely knew her game and it was an honor to learn from her!

Went our with Carrie searching for whales. She is a marine biologist, but beyond that, clearly loves what she is doing and has contagious enthusiasm. Saw a number of grey whales that make their home in Depoe Bay. Highly recommended experience.

Excellent educational outing for the family. The crew works hard to make sure everyone has a good time and is comfortable. The most amazing experience for the entire family.

I love the whale watching tours that are on zodiacs. You get so much closer to the water, the whales can get so close. One dived just off to the side of us and went under. It was really choppy that day and I wasn't...More

I don't think all the boats have a dog aboard, but Carrie's did. At first it was kind of cute, but after being stepped on and pushed against for the fiftieth time, it started to get old. Then while trying to take a video of...More

This was a wonderful small group whale watching excursion. Boats held 4, 6, or about 10 guests plus crew, so lots of personal interaction. All three boat captains are marine biologists/naturalists, not just fishing guides doing whale tours in their spare time. We had Captain...More

Didn't see breaching but one came about 20 ft from us. Beautiful day! Sunny, about 64°F. Saw several. Didn't get wet at all. Smooth ride. Comfortable. Good bathrooms, go before ride.

This was our first time ever on a boat in the Ocean, let alone whale watching! I am so glad we chose Carrie's Whale Watching for this trip. All the staff (including deck hands and other captains) were so helpful and accommodating. They treated our...More

I would call to verify for sure, but it seemed she said this morning that they often times travel through until mid-April.

Hi! That is right during the eclipse weekend. The coast will be inundated with visitors. The boats are most likely completely reserved on the 21st.
