we love to go to Mt pisgah for long walks by the river, or go on one of the myriad of trails on the mountain. Some days we are even brave enough to go to top of Pisgah. There are markers for names of plants and trails.

Lots of options for trails, easy to less easy nothing too challenging. Well maybe a little challenging if you have mobility issues. Very nice along the river. There is also a facility for events like weddings and company picnics. I have been there for both of those reasons and everything went smooth as butta.

I really enjoyed this hike for a number of reasons. There are several different trails you can take to the top, all are beautiful with lovely nature views. You can get away from the crowds and get grounded. There is a nice mix of sun and shade, you aren't always under tree canopy. Get outside, enjoy the beauty Oregon has... More

But it's the other little gem trails that make me come to Pisgah. I like solitude with my nature, so I prefer the surrounding area over the main hike to the top. Definitely have to make the trek at least once, though! Hurry to this lovely place before they industrialize the area surrounding the park!

All of us who live in Eugene/Springfield know about this. If you are a visitor looking for a great hike, this is a good one. And some times when the sun is not shinning on the Valley floor, you might get some rays at the top. Several routes will take you to the top for the 360 panorama. There is... More

Wonderful hike to the summit on a cold but clear and sunny day. Wonderful views all the way up and from the summit. Safe and plenty of room.

Several types of trails for all levels of ability. There is an arboretum, a reservable shelter perfect for weddings and cool new bird blind with interpretive aspects. Swimming along the river, however it is unsupervised and at your own risk. Plenty of parking at $4 per car and they patrol the whole place so be sure you don't get a... More

Nice trails along the river. Parking was adequate and the leaves were beginning to turn. Lots of unusual handmade benches.

A hike to the top can be a work out depending on which trail up you pick. We picked the shorter trail to the summit, however, it was steep and challenging and a couple of times we mistakenly got off the trail. watch for the trail markers. This seems to be a popular place for getting outside. There were several... More

I go up to hike this mountain at least if not more than once a week. It is a vigorous walk and full of life. I like to go with my friends and take the time to get a visit in as well as some great exercise. By the time you hike from the lower backside up to the top... More
