Armitage Park is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. We came here everyday to walk our dogs down by the river. Nice, clean shady areas. We stayed in the campground adjacent to the park. They also have a wonderful off leash dog park. This is a great place for family reunions or birthday parties. Don't miss the hawks nest... More

This park is located on the bank of the Mackenzie River just before it joins the Willamette in Northeast Eugene. Well shaded by mature trees, the park is criscrossed with paved paths. One low-lying path stretches along the bank of the river, shallow here but with a strong current. A few feet above is the broad flat lawn, trees, and... More

Beautiful tree Lined park with plenty of parking for day use. There is a fee to use this park. We launched from this park on our northward adventure of the WSV bikeway for our 3 day tour on bikes

This older park along the McKenzie River is a great and mostly unknown year round camping spot in the Eugene/Coberg area.

I am not sure what to rate this park as I didn't see the whole thing. I can say the dog area was sadder than sad. I don't have a whole lot to compare to but this is on a river and the dog area was no where near water. There are trails galore through the trees but the dog... More

We like staying in not so common parks with our Motor Home, and have become a big fan of County parks. This little park is a great example of an efficiently run, well maintained, and nicely located park. All the RV sites are paved and level, have full service (water, elect., sewer, cable), a picnic table, fire ring and enough... More

Located near the McKenize River, this park is in a lovely area. Go and see to appreciate. Yes, I fully agree with previous reviewers, there IS a daily usage fee for parking and being inside the park. Remember to pay!! Have enjoyed walking there and having group picnics. Since we do not camp, we are unable to comment on that... More

I visited Armatige County park for a reunion. I bought my $4 ticket and placed it correctly on the dash. I checked that I was in the correct area. Returned to have a $110 ticket which I could pay at $72 rate which includes a free $30 yearly pass. The sign for boat parking was in the section following the... More

While it is a bit pricey for a week of camping it has all you need with access to the McKinzie River which is clean and lovely! Having sewer at the RV sites with a new laundry area is unusual for a county run park. We loved having beautiful paths to walk our dog around the river and access to... More

Nice campground area! Large sites with electric, water, cable and sewer. Laundry facilities, showers and onsite host. Campground is clean, quiet and peaceful. Lots of trails, access to the river and a dog park. Second visit here and there will be more in the future.
