I wanted to hike but didn't really have a lot of time so I chose to wander from the entrance of the trail on Hwy 101 through the dark forest and on down to the beach. It was a wonderful short hike and I actually...More

My daughter and I tried to come here twice on a Sunday, once around 11:00 and again in the afternoon and there was no parking available. We came again on Monday morning around 9:00 and it was perfect. The weather was drizzly, but that works...More

Easy trail (although I wasn't willing to do any of the more hobbity offshoots). The beach at the end is very nice and more secluded than most.

This trail is only .5 mile one way but so beautiful. Our grandchildren loved all of the places to go a little off the trail under tress and shrubs using their imaginations to create all kinds of scenarios. The trail ends at a lovely beach....More

This was mine and my wife’s first experience hiking in Oregon. We are from Arizona, so we were very much looking forward to some cooler hiking, and the Heceta Head Lighthouse to Hobbit Beach trail did not disappoint! As hikers go, we are definitely beginners,...More

I almost hate to mention this place because it has become very popular. We took the dogs for a walk and were amazed at the beauty of the journey to the beach. Be advised, it is not an easy walk. It's not overly strenuous either....More

Short jaunt down to the beach, and back up. Took about 30 minutes, probably a little less than a mile total. Worked up a nice sweat. Cool flora.
