I have gone to this lighthouse twice in three years. And never really seen it! The first time it was pouring rain and fog. The second time it was just pea soup fog. I have touched it but never seen it. Consider yourselves lucky if...More

Prepare to pay for parking and hike to see this lighthouse, BUT it is worth it. This is a working lighthouse that you can tour (except going to the top). It was being remodeled on the upper levels when we toured, but the volunteer guides...More

Wife and I drove over to see the lighthouse. They give tours every 10-15 minutes or so which are free and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history. Costs 5 bucks to park in the lot and you have to hike a little...More

Rather than go right up to this lighthouse, we chose to view it from Cape Cove below. What a beautiful place! The lighthouse was a little hidden by the trees and fog on the day we went, but it was still worth going, especially for...More

We stopped here in the early morning around 10:00 before it got too busy. You have to pay for parking but we didn't know at the time. Oops! We decided not to go for the hike up to the lighthouse but got some good photos...More

A great history lesson very informative and the view breathtaking. If you go during the whale migration it's a added treat..

Enjoyable stop. You must do a bit of walking to see the buildings. Tours are offered of the lighthouse and keepers redidence. There is no charge for these, however parking is $5.

Parking lot at bottom of trail to lighthouse gets busy especially in the summer so go early. Self-pay day pass is $5, pit toilets are available. The hike to the lighthouse is .5mi one way with gradual incline. You can tour the lighthouse keepers house...More

Something about lighthouses attracts me and this one is another "must see". Be aware that there is a hike to get to this one, up a hill. The views are best on the highway viewpoint but the beach and park at the base of the...More

I love lighthouses, and this only disappointment was because we couldn't climb to the top. The light keepers house wasn't open to the public but was so pretty. The views were wonderful. The "tour" was very informative.

Yes, I believe the trail is always open. It is a fair hike up there. The trail isn't really steep, but it does ascend about 1/2 mile in a fairly short distance. The view is well worth it, though, if you can handle the... More

There is a parking lot. The exit from Hwy. 101 is well marked. Park in the lot (restrooms and picnic area available) and walk the path up to the lighthouse. Both the lighthouse keeper's house and the actual lighthouse are... More
