Beautiful park and a great location. Rangers at fee booth are extremely friendly and helpful. BUT make sure everything is locked up, neighbors had an expensive bike stolen and another had their battery compartment broken into and fresh water hose stolen.

We camped in Yurt 25A. It was our first time staying in a yurt. We were pleasantly surprised to find out it had electricity, a heater, & a sky light. This spot has no tent pad, and was right behind the host. It was on...More

The campgrounds lack privacy, but its proximity to the sand dunes makes up for it. You can rent sand boards at nearby shops and sand board all day, which is what we did. We kayaked in the lake nearby as well. They close at 4....More

We have started exploring state parks in the last couple years. Tumalo and LaPine are awesome. Honeyman is not. Our yurt had a dirty, limited bathroom nearby and was constantly in use. The folks in the neighboring space were extremely loud until well after 10pm...More

This is a nice campground, but stay away from the outside of H loop - 374 - 389. ATVs running back and forth all day and some are very loud.

I can't believe we got a last minute spot here for 3 nights. We had reservations at Beverly Beach in Newport for 3 nights which is our favorite beach camping spot. So my husband just happened to score 3 more nights about an hour South...More

Ranger Paul and his Tracker class was a highlight for our kids. The park is stunning with huge trees and campsites for miles. Walking distance to sand dunes and a lake great for swimming and playing on the dunes!

I live here and I still camp here when I can! Book early to get a spot. The playground is great for kids and the Station where I get my firewood has the nicest people!

541-997-3641 Is the camp office, I'd call and ask about accommodating 40. The website says they have six seasonal group spaces. I hope you enjoy your trip to Oregon :)

The campsite map gives information about the length of RV that will fit in each site in parentheses. We stayed in G Loop and found it to be very beautiful and quiet. I think F Loop may be noisy, as that is where the access... More
