I like the hook ups for campers but it's too close quarters and too busy for my liking, I don't like having to have my dogs chained up all time so we stay on the sand where they can run and play.

This is a very quiet and beautiful place. Went on a few walks while there and it was very calm and relaxing. Watched people swim and picnic. You can camp, sand board, fish and take your boat out on the water. Even though we live in Florence, our visits here are different every time we go.

What an amazing piece of nature. The kids loved sand boarding and to have the lake right there was also a big bonus. Would plan for a day trip to the park again if returning to the area.

We had lunch on a nice table tuck away and by the lake and the trees. Very relaxing, even my 10 yr old grandson e joked it very much.

Great place to on route to Florence, the Honeyman state park is wonderful. The place is beautiful and the sand dunes are crazy and so entertaining whether taking part or watching folk try sand boarding. Lovely Cleawox Lake adds further beauty to the state park. A must stop Oregon location.

It is a very big and busy campground (second in the US we were told). Located very close to the dunes. The sites are in the forest, so the campsites are dark, but good size. Some noise from ATVs driving in the recreation area nearby. Some noise at night from other campsites but it was fine. Washrooms are fine, a... More

This is a great family park for hiking, swimming, picnicking, exploring, camping, or just to get into nature. We have enjoyed hiking in this park with our dogs, and often bring a picnic lunch to stop and enjoy along the way. This is well worth spending a day to stop and smell the woods.

We had a great time at the coast. There is so much to do here. Bring the fishing gear and a beach towels. Place is huge. Go on a dune buggy ride and see the area!

Stayed at this park for three days, as well as a number of other state parks in Or. as we traveled down the coast - this one was the best - big sites, and a nice lake to swim at. The kids rented sand surf boards and spent hours going up and down that hill. Showers were great, clean with... More

Large sites for camping and well maintained. Campfires allowed, logs for purchase. Lacks kitchen wash-up facilities. Close to the dunes, sand boards available to rent. The historic town of Florence is close by, visit the harbour for crabbing. Free life vests for kids.
