The overlook is well worth a stop. The rivers were pretty tame when we visited, but judging from some of the informational signs, the confluence can be anything but tame at high water levels. The overlook is within a few feet of the parking area.

This is the confluence of the North Umpqua and the Little rivers. There is a lovely diving rock, rapids, and swimming beaches, all brought together in a nice little area with a nice viewpoint. Well worth a visit.

This is an unique place as the two rivers (Little River & North Umpqua River) collide head on. The turbulent waters below the viewing area can seem calm at times and

Best in the spring, but a nice stop to stretch your legs and a rest stop, worth the stop to see the rivers.
