After reading all the reviews, ditto. Something you have to see at least once. We really enjoyed our stop here. My son also likes Gravity Falls (Disney cartoon). You will only spend 1 hour here, tops. So great stop on that road trip. I got...More

Although my family had been here before, our children were so young and remembered nothing of it. They were excited by the idea as they are huge fans of Disney's "Gravity Falls", and are aware that this acclaimed unusual location is considered to be a...More

During our 3-day exploration of Grants Pass we decided to visit The Oregon Vortex House of Mystery. It's conveniently located near I-5 so it made an easy stop on our vacation. There some very interesting findings here and some of the are hard to explain....More

And you've got an hour to kill, this is a fun destination. The male guide we had really sold this as a special vortex and involved people from the tour in "proving" the power of the vortex. The optical illusions could probably be seen on...More

Not as amazing as I had hoped for, but still an interesting place to visit. Our tour guide was great - friendly and informative. I wish we'd spent more time walking around and exploring after the tour. It seems pretty obvious that optical illusions are...More

This place is hard to explain without knowing all the scientific lingo. Long story short, the science of the north and south poles and how they effect the Earth is super exaggerated here. One minute your friend looks shorter than a 6ft tall man, the...More

We have passed by this attraction dozens of times and never stopped as I just thought of it as a tourists trap. We took a 12 year old on a trip and had time so we stopped. It's not far off the freeway and it...More

The tour of this attraction explains the history of the phenomena, and mechanics of the vortex. Information is provided through a walking tour that demonstrates the energetic phenomena of the vortex. The tour walks through an old, twisted mining shack that slid down the hill...More

This was a fun visit. You want to chalk it off to optical illusion, but they seem to successfully debunk that with levels and other demonstrations.

The vortex was interesting. However, the "tour" didn't last as long as I thought it would for the price of admission. Fun thing to do if you happen to be in Gold Hill Oregon.

If heading North on I5, take exit 40 and go through town and out the old highway, stay right when the bridge fork approaches a few miles past town. Stay on course and it will be on your right. There will be a sign. Have fun!
