It is worth a visit both to get info and directions and learn about local history through the interesting exhibits and a few curious Mt. Hood collections that are carefully maintained.

Toured this in our trip to the mountain. This was our first experience and was really positive. The volunteer was informative and friendly. She even had her grandson there that day and he was keeping the sidewalks shoveled. This was a neat museum.

This was an interesting hodge-podge of local historical interests. It is a low-budget assemblage of fire tower and lodge models, snow ski collection from perhaps the last 100 years, some wildlife exhibits, and other things. I liked it, but I didn't have much time to...More

Lots of memorabilia about skiing as well as information about the area. Helpful staff-recommended aTrilium Lake hiking trailto us when I asked about an easy hike, relatively flat. Turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

A nice place to spend an hour and learn about the history and geography of the area, but not a destination in its own right.
