We had no idea what to expect. The scenery alone was worth the trip. Category 5 Rapids. Very experienced guide that kept us on a safe path. We did both the upper and lower River so took about 4.5 hours. They outfit you with all the best clothing and wetsuits needed even though you get wet it's not a problem.... More

The White Salmon River is an adventure junkie's paradise with its Class 3,4, and 5 whitewater rapids and waterfalls. But it also offers beautiful intimacy both on the river and along its banks. Take a whitewater rafting trip with any of the great outfitters that run the river. They supply all you need, even the wetsuits for protection from the... More

This is a very fun river. Recommend for anybody who likes to white water. When they say your trip is 3/4 hrs with 2.5 hrs of white water they aren't pulling your leg. Great fun for the whole family.

My husband and I had never been white water rafting and really wanted to go! Our experience was more than I could have ever asked for! Mark our guide was so entertaining and great! i am not sure what i was expecting given my previous white water rafting experiences...slow float down the river or "hair on fire" rapids...this was totally different from my other adventures. It started slowly enough but quickly picked up the pace so that every turn was a new experience. We had to jump off a cliff to get around a... More

My husband and I were traveling through the Columbia River Gorge in the hottest Aug. ever in Oregon (undocumented fact) but it was 95+ degrees every day and the fires kept the air close. The day we spent white water rafting with Zoller's was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a perfect combination of beauty, thrill and... More

Hubby and I traveled to Portland to visit our son who is attending PSU. Wanted to do something fun that would appeal to all of us, and we hit a homerun with a whitewater raft trip. It was made all the more interesting because we went through what was once the Condit Damwhick was featured in the documentary Damn Nation.

The rapids are a lot of fun and you'd never guess you're so close to civilization as you make your way down the river.

Husum Falls is a good drop in a kayak or raft. I have witnessed experienced rafters and kayakers capsize and others make a smooth transition to the water below. Either way a real thrill, but I prefer to stay in the raft! You can portage around the drop if you are not feeling up to it and still enjoy the... More
