About
We produce hand crafted wines from estate grown grapes. From harvest, crush and barrel aging- it all takes place at our facility. As a small, family-run boutique winery, our goal is to produce high quality wines, manage a sustainable business, and contribute to the economic vitality of the Columbia Gorge while still having some fun! Our tasting room's deck and patio is an ideal setting for a glass of wine and a picnic lunch with friends and family while overlooking our waterfall and pond. We are also pet friendly!

My husband and I visited this vineyard as part of a private tour. Our guide selected this vineyard for us as we are not from the area. We were greeted by a nice gentleman at the wine-tasting counter who started to tell us about the tasting flight. When more customers came we were handed off to a woman who was sort of short with us and through a communication issue didn’t know our guide was paying for the tasting. She didn’t give us any information about the vineyard or the wines and handed us two glasses. We were confused about whether we could go outside to enjoy the flight or if we had to stay at the counter. We were told by another staff member that we could go outside. A server brought us each new wine to taste with nothing more about the wine except the name. The wines we tasted were just okay. What was really disappointing to me is that the vineyard didn’t seem thankful that our guide brought us there. And, even though we bought wine, they charged our guide the full tasting fees.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful 8 day trip to Hood River. We selected Wy'East as one of the wineries to visit for a tasting. Arriving after a full day of local adventures we relaxed on the back deck, watched the Alpacas eat and rest while sampling some very good wines. Our server did a nice job of describing the wines and providing information on the vineyards they were sourced from. We also selected a few bottles to take home.

We were driving by and saw that they were open for wine tasting so we stopped. We were happy we did! The wine was good and the staff was nice. Since we were not planning on wine tasting this day, they were helpful in directing us to some other wineries in the area and also some other activities.

Stopped by here for a quick tasting. It was much better than Cherry Wonderdog could have expected. There was an excellent pinot noir and a blue chip Pinot 2021 at $28. Extremely light and fruit-forward. Very nice server. Low pressure. Highly recommended!

Wy’East Vineyards and Wheels Food Truck are both excellent! They partnered for an incredible vineyard dinner and paired wine evening private for our family. Truly a wonderful experience and every detail was attended to. The food was all local and freshly prepared and each wine from the vineyard was expertly matched to the course. Highly recommend!

Tastings are $15-20. Wines were good. An hour and a half or so outside of Portland. Lots of wineries in this area worth exploring. This is one of them. It has a nice tasting room and outdoor hangout. They only serve charcuterie tray so eat first.

We are happy you enjoyed your visit to our tAsting room. A 5 taste flight is $15 which is refundable with single bottle purchase. And thanks for mentioning our neighboring wineries, we all have our personalities and different wines, it is, indeed, a wine region worth exploring. Cheers!

My husband, dog, Mabelle, and I chose one winery to visit in Hood River and we made the right choice! Wy’east is easy-going, dog friendly, fun to chat with and offers lots of varieties of Pinot Noir. Lauren and Kyla were extremely friendly and made you feel very welcomed - the customer service was top notch. I'll be fairly honest, I didn't love their wine, we purchased a bottle and enjoyed it, but wouldn't buy a case. I would, however, return for the setting, patio and people!

Very warm welcoming staff with amazing products. We are travelling from ireland to explore the wineries around and stopped by this place. We have tested couple of wines and pinot noir which I personally liked was the best so far I have tested in my life. Dick was a great human being and explained us every tiny details of the wineyard and also had a great time with kids. If you are in Oregon, must visit this place. Best experience in oregon for this place.

Unlike another area winery that we visited, the service here was excellent. The manager was very helpful when we were making selections and packed everything perfectly for our trip home.
